These questions can help you give narrative to the work you’ve done as you write up your assessment report:

• What student learning outcome(s) did you aim to assess?
• Which students were you assessing? (ie, Seniors? Majors? All students in 100 level classes? etc)
• Were there specific initiatives/assignments/discussions/events that were a part of this?
• What data did you use to assess?
• How did you analyze these data? (ie, what rubric?)
• What conclusions have you drawn based on this analysis?
• How will these conclusions inform your departmental decisions moving forward?
• Do these conclusions lead you to new questions? What are they?
