About Institutional Learning Outcomes
Since June 2021, Kalamazoo College has been a participating institution in the Assessment Academy, a multi-year institutional capacity-building program of the Higher Learning Commission. The Kalamazoo College Assessment Academy team is focused on developing sustainable practices and procedures for assessing student learning based on the four Institutional Learning Outcomes (ILO).
ILOs enable graduates to:
- Communicate effectively
- Address complex problems
- Collaborate successfully
- Demonstrate intercultural competency
